Local vets working to ensure ‘a best going away possible’

Veterans in St. Landry Parish may now apply to be a part of a new Veterans Funeral Honor Guard, which aims to ensure that veterans in St. Landry Parish receive the “best going-away possible” in light of recent proposed military troop cuts at Fort Polk.
