Site Dedication

In Honor of Retired SFC Irvin Lagrange

When Karen Lagrange Cox was asked to setup this web site for St Landry Parish Veterans Honor Guard, she was more than happy to set it up as a partial in-kind contribution in honor of her father, Retired Sergeant First Class Irvin Lagrange who was a career Army man.

SFC Lagrange is from St Landry Parish and was drafted in 1952 during the Korean War and served until his retirement in 1973. Along with being stationed at many state side Army posts, he served three tours in Korea, three tours in Germany and, one tour in Vietnam. During the majority of his Army career he served his country working primarily for the Army Postal Office (APO) helping to get mail to and from loved ones for our service men and women serving our country.
